ProEarly Co provides families the expert consulting, coaching, and content they need to make informed childcare decisions for their families. The team at ProEarly Co brings over 40 years of combined experience across a variety of childcare options, with specific expertise in education programming, inclusive classrooms, family and community engagement, health and safety requirements and best practices, and child health and nutrition.

Education Enthusiast

Christine Maia

Christine has 18 years of experience working with families and children aged from birth to 5 years in the roles of classroom teacher, disability specialist and coach, and center director. Christine attended Seton Hall University for elementary/special education with a content major in English, specializing in inclusivity within childcare programs for children with suspected and diagnosed disabilities.  

 

When she is not researching the latest and greatest in education for ProEarly Co, you can find her basking in the sunshine on a beach or trying a new recipe during those Florida rain showers!

Health & Safety Hero

Mackenzie Pelland

Mackenzie has spent her career working in early childhood education with extensive experience operating and monitoring childcare programs at the local, state, and federal levels. Her specialty is in building and implementing the health and safety policies for programs across the country, and she is trained in crisis management, emergency response, safe sleep, food handling and facility safety. She has her masters in education policy, specializing in early childhood, from Columbia University and her bachelors in politics and education from Occidental College.

 

When she is not working with our amazing ProEarly Co families or on new content and resources, you can probably find her walking with her dog, Penny, or binging the latest Netflix show with her husband, Chris!

Family Communication Fanatic

Megan Grau

Megan has spent the last decade opening and running world-class early learning centers across the United States. She specializes in developing strategies to support families of young children build nurturing environments to promote their children’s school readiness and healthy development. She holds a masters degree from the University of Delaware in health promotion (go Blue Hens!).

When she is not working hard on ProEarly Co resources for you, she and her partner can be found exploring the outdoors with their rescue pups, Frank and Mona or planning their next trip!

Child Health Champion

Paige Moriarty

Over the past 14 years, Paige has worked in a variety of early learning and school-age settings, supporting caregivers, teachers and families in promoting healthy routines and behaviors that support a lifetime of learning and success. As a Certified Health Education Specialist, she is skilled in deciphering health and nutrition information, and she is your girl for support on everything from breastfeeding to complex medical issues in childhood. She earned her master’s degree in health promotion in 2011 from the University of Delaware. 

 

When she is not reading the latest research on child health and nutrition and sharing it in usable ways with all of you through ProEarly Co, you will likely find her with her family (she has two young children), with her nose in a novel, teaching a Pure Barre class, or somewhere soaking up some sunshine.
